<p>* Ensure software releases meet Quality Assurance specifications with regard
to expected features, functionality and quality, by implementation of a test
plan, and through comparison of the end product with respect to the finalized
requirements documents, product descriptions, and technical design
specifications. Provide necessary feedback to software developers and designers
to eliminate defects within the product as early in the development process as
possible.<br>
* Participate in all phases of the project, from review of requirements and
design to final system testing and launch<br>
* Develop test cases/harnesses and test products to meet assigned requirements<br>
* Construct/maintain automated testing framework and other testing tools to
perform performance/stress and load testing suites<br>
* Render detailed defect descriptions and support materials into the defect
tracking system<br>
* Schedule definition, resource requirements, and execution to plan for all
assigned features<br>
* Interact with Development team to ensure a comprehensive engineering
documents and test strategy<br>
* Documentation reviews for Technical Publications deliverables<br>
* May be asked to supervise or mentor junior QA engineers to meet established
project milestones<br>
* Stay abreast of industry-wide changes in technology, programming techniques
and new tools being used in the QA field<br>
* Operate primarily in a Unix environment.<o:p></o:p></p>
