Specific Technical Experience Requirements.<br>
Installation, Configuration, Administration, and Maintenance of the following:<br>
* Systems - HW and SW (Solaris, Linux, Windows)<br>
* Storage arrays - NAS, DAS, SAN attached; RAID configured.<br>
* Storage transport technologies - FC, iSCSI, FCoE, SAS, IB<br>
* TCP/IP network routers/switches.<br>
* SAN core and edge directors/switches.<br>
* Provide physical plant recommendations - fiber/copper cabling,
HVAC, Power, rack space, work areas, etc.<br>
* Experienced troubleshooter and problem solver.<br>
<br>
Additional Specific Requirements:<br>
* Physically able to receive and install servers, storage arrays, switches,
etc. in racks.<br>
* Flexible self starter who works effectively with little guidance and converts
general requirements into specific timely actions and results.<br>
* Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels.<br>
* Able to work effectively with a variety of strong personalities.<br>
* Maintain appropriate spares and tools.<br>
* Maintain asset inventory.<br>
* Act as advocate for lab requirements and be a "go to" person for
lab issues.<br>
