[NCLUG] Some CodeRed web hits compared

Well, I'm up to 500 something for my DSL now. :-(

I normally don't run httpd on my @home box, but for fun I placed some
software to listen to port 80.

Turns out I'm getting near a code red hit every 2.7 minutes or so.
Granted I don't grok the request string, but it's strange that I even get
hits on that box because I don't advertise it to anyone...)

That sure is worse than my dsl box, which is about 1 every 10 minutes
right now (DSL box is a bit different, since it has links from google and
other search engines.)

Now if only @home could get rid of that darned occasional 30-second packet
lag from my cablemodem :(

(Oh, and I sort of prefer Qwest over @home because they don't care if I
run servers. But with MSN taking over, I may need to look elsewhere...)
