Impedance mis-matches (was: Re: [NCLUG] Egress Filtering)

There are these huge impedance mis-matches when people communicate.
Written communication usually makes it much worse, even with emoticons.
Which is why I try to give the benefit of the doubt when doing them.

Hopefully it works better in the future.
