[NCLUG] NIC that won't quite seat in PCI slot...

I've got some Linksys LNE100TX cards and have generally been
pretty happy with them but I recently picked up a new PC and
while it has 6 PCI slots, the Linksys card won't seat in any
of them.

There's this notch in the card that straddles the little ...
uh, anti-notch in the PCI connector, and it's off by about 1
or 2 mm. I can force it down a little further, but the sweat
from my forehead as I think about ruining my spanking new PC
runs down and blurs my vision whenever I start to try it.

The problem seems to be with the NIC. Or I should say that I
have at least one PCI card (a sound card) that seems to have
looser (tighter?) notch placement tolerances.

Any suggestions? I'm not sure what I suggestions I'm looking
for, really? A different brand of NIC?
