[NCLUG] Linux DVD support (apart from CSS)

Are there any gotchas related to using a DVD as a big CD?

Specifically I'm curious if there are brands to avoid
if this will be my main CD-ROM as well.

(I'm familiar with the CSS issue and somewhere in my browser
cache I've got a GIF file with the DeCSS source code
steganographically encoded. You probably do to. :-)
