 Well from a Sun perspective, Ultra5's suck. These are the heads they were
using controlling the two E10K's at Ebay when they were having all those
problems a couple years ago. It's basically a POS case assembled by Compaq
(same for the Ultra10's) with more PC than Sun parts in it. I've never
worked with any myself but have several Ultra10's and even though the CPUs
are 440MHz they are about half the speed of an Ultra60 with a 450MHz CPU.
Bus and RAM speeds count for alot.

 I'm sure Linux runs fine on it but go for neat over speed.
