Check out a program called "pathchar".  Sic Google on that word.
It is very alpha, poorly documented, takes forever, but it seems
to work.  Add the -m1500 line to it -- that seems to help.

You might also look for "bing"  I've heard it does this, but
I've personally never seen it.
