[NCLUG] glibc 2.2 locale issue?

I guess the answer is: me, and it's because I'm an idiot.

Somehow I had managed to install Linux without glibc-common.

I didn't know you could do that. I don't remember checking
the box for "kernel" either but luckily that one showed up
anyhow.
