Hi,

I have the following position in Longmont for a Sr Software Engineer. This
company is looking for candidates who have recently been developing in a
Linux environment for a non-web related, commercial software product. 
	Type: Full Time
	Dollars: Market - DOE
	Location: Longmont (1st 4 months will be working from home until an
actual office is opened)
	Required Skills (yrs and platforms): Must be fluent in Java/JNI and
C as implementation languages, Must have experience in designing and
implementing to an API interface. Must be well versed in Disk Storage
technologies and protocols such as RAID, Clusters, Arrays. Must have working
knowledge of interfaces such as SCSI & FC. Must have fundamental knowledge
of File system interfaces. Must know fundamentals of configuration
management, hot spot detection, file migration, backup, snapshots,
performance analysis, and associated storage management command sets. Must
have experience in writing tools, utilities and interfaces. Must be a good
communicator to work independently in remote sites. Must be willing to
travel periodically to headquarters as necessary for communications,
planning, reviews, etc. Must be a self starter requiring minimal direction
or counseling, and capable of working remotely with no day to day
supervision or interaction with other members of team. Must be a team player
with an active participation in teleconferenced team meetings.
	Plus Skills: Storage Management software for Linux.
	
	Degree Required Y/N: yes, BS in CS, CE, Math or equivalent
	Typical Day: Successful candidate will be assigned responsibility to
develop commercial software products, with specific emphasis on storage
management capabilities.
