The effective way to deal with that is to put a cap on your outbound
bandwidth, which they do...  The limit is around 20KB/sec.  My experience
has been with xpilot servers, and usually those work great until you have 4
players on it.  Each one uses up around 5KB/sec, so more than 4 players
make EVERYONE unhappy.
