[NCLUG] any experience modifying gcc specs files?

Actually, I seem to remember this coming up on the gcc mailing list
within the last month.  The consensus was that a patch was needed (and
was desirable and should be applied after some modification) to have
this controllable from the specs file.

IIRC, of course... I only skim the gcc m-l.
