 An additional command that can be helpful is 'clock' which can read from
and write to the CMOS/BIOS. There doesn't seem to be a man page but 'clock
--help' provides a list of the options. This is very useful for setting
the hardware clock without leaving the OS.

 Rubbing my eyes again, it looks like the actual command, complete with
man page, is 'hwclock' to which clock is a symlink. I'm going back to
sleep.
