The new ones from D-Link, in particular the DWL-520+ (PCI) and DWL-650+
(PCMCIA), are based on Texas Instraments' ACX100 chip. /Many/ other
manufacturers are using this chip also. It's not all D-Links' fault
because TI has not support the open source community in any way. But,
there has been some significant reverse engineering to make the chip work
under Linux. YMMV
