I have never seen anything like this, and I don't think it would work,
but i could be wrong.

Subject: Re: [NCLUG] USB to IDE adapters ?

Hey,

I'm looking for an adapter that would let me plug a USB device into an
IDE slot on the motherboard.

My bios is old and won't let me boot off of a USB device, and I'm
looking for a hack around this problem.

Seen plenty of 'turn your IDE device into a USB one - adapters', but
I'm looking to do it the other way 'round...

Does anyone know if such a beast even exists ?

Using a CF-IDE adapter would be my (*distant*) second preference... :)

Thanks much,
Gabriel
