[NCLUG] Help with bootloading HP Kayak

   You were right.  It is an addressing issue.  I dropped an old IDE
  drive in and used it purely for the master boot record,  everything
  boots fine.  It is a known fact that Adaptec AIC-7880 controllers
  do not handle LBA properly, but it is starting to appear that
  any 7XXX controller doesn't.  Now, I do have 2 options turned on
  that I THOUGHT you needed turned on.  Extended BIOS translation
  for drive above 1 gig   AND Interuppt 13 H hooking.  

  It seems that Dell, Gateway, and ASUS all use this controller (7892) 
  on their motherboards,  and they all have BIOS updates available.
  HP deoesn't seem to.  I am scared to try another manufacturers 
  SCSI BIOS update.  Anyway have comments on this?  Experiance?
