[NCLUG] kdeinit failing on latest KRUD (RH 8.0)

Hello all,

I just upgraded to the latest KRUD. The problem I am
having is that KDE will not start. It brings up a box
that says "Couldn't start kdeinit". No messages appear
on the console and the only thing I can see in
/var/log/messages is "Can't locate module
char-major-81", but I'm not sure if this is related.

Any ideas? Is there another log for KDE somewhere that
might be a little more specific?
