  I don't think you even need moderation.  Just close the list so that
  only subscribers can send to it.  That would stop the spam right there.
  I think changing that one setting would make a lot of people very happy!

 I'd be delighted if we moved to a moderated list. The traffic isn't so
 terribly high that we couldn't do that.
