I actually went to the SCO site and read the IBM counter claims
this morning - some good parts on their parts, a lot of boiler
plate  denial and avoidance of the substance SCO claims, and
out right scary enforcement claims on software patents that the
entire community would be in arms about if the otherside wasn't
SCO. Who's next?

The Copyright infringement claims are VERY trumped up ... the entire
case is based on a circular arguement that because SCO is seeking
action for IBM's trade secret and trade practices, that gives IBM
the right to recind the GPL rights ... something the opensource
GPL community should be screaming about ... but will probably
let the GPL be violated because the target is SCO ... who's next?
