I am not running SuSE and so don't know what kernel they are using. I am running Debian myself. But let me suggest checking for the usb modules. modprobe usbkbd USB keyboards work fine for me. I know I have that module loaded. You should not need to modify XF86Config for the keyboard. We'll talk about how web servers work (HTTP) and how to configure Apache by looking at a real example that covers basic and intermediate features. Your Linux distribution should make installing Apache easy but if you need help come to our InstallFest next month.
