Thanks Rob.  Actually, turns out the monitor wasn't the issue.  I
discovered that these Octanes sometimes require some TLC:

Once I applied the proper pressure, it came right up.  Well... kinda.
It appears that the integrated NIC is busted - it reports PCI errors
during POST & when I try to netboot.

So.. anyone have a spare XIO NIC or pci board for one of these?
