At Tuesday's meeting, there was the question about the city of Munich
taking up Linux. There was a small progress report dated Sept. 6,
2005 on cnet.
"Munich is not the only European city migrating to Linux on the
desktop. In July, the Austrian city of Vienna kicked off its
migration to open-source software on the desktop, and the Norwegian
city of Bergen also plans to migrate."

And this (from April, '05) about Debian being selected as the
distribution for Munich.
