I said "encourage", not "force".  I said "distro-specific configuration
tools", not "distribution specific GUIs".  The entire character of what
I said was changed when my statements were misrepresented.  That's why I
responded to the statements above the way I did.

Not "that bad", for some definition of "that" I suppose, but bad enough
that it gets in my way and is certainly not optimal.
