[NCLUG] help finding documentation for unique cluster setup

one other thing I should menchine is that I don't really want anything
special on the client side.  So I should be able to connect to it from ftp
just like any other local volume.  Is it possible to have both the server
and client side on the main node, and then be able to connect to it via ftp
or something?  Because of the issues with the client side I am starting to
wonder if I should go with unionFS.
