[NCLUG] how to I permit a user to use FTP?

Or, edit /etc/sysconfig/iptables-config and in the IPTABLES_MODULES line
add "ip_conntrack_ftp" and run "service iptables restart".  That will load
the FTP connection-tracking module, which does the magic for understanding
FTP active mode.
