[NCLUG] Installfest Status

I have nothing against CA but it's not very public. That may be fine but
unless it's well advertised not many people will know we are doing it. It
would be harder to get permission and maybe a network connection but
something at the library or CSU or somewhere would be more visible. Of
course, if that's not important then, well, it's not important. I'm just
asking.

I'm not a copyright expert, but copyright law does allow for trademarks to
be used without permission for things like parody. I think we could avoid
the hassle if the logos were stylized a bit and parodied. Even if not
stylized you could still claim parody as they are all mixed together. I'm
also wondering if we would need permission in any case. For non-commercial
use will anyone care if a few people put their favorite emblem on a shirt?
It's free advertising.

As for which, I like the first one with the second one's text. I think we
should include NCLUG Installfest 2008 on there too.

And for geek points, I recognize all but the moon and star one. :)
