Man, that would have rocked!

This reminds me of the old HP 712 "Gecko" workstation ISDN adapter.  It
connected to the 712 via SCSI -- the only port it had fast enough to handle
the blindingly fast 128Kbps throughput.  The serial interfaces on it were
much slower than that.  IP over SCSI, baby!
