Hi Shannu,

Thanks for the article. I was confused about the roles of lvremove and
lvconvert. I had them backwards.

I was expecting lvremove to back out the changes made to the origin file
system. But that's apparently what lvconvert --merge does.

Now I can move forward again with my Rocks Clusters GPU project. This is
the biggest personal project I've attempted with Linux.
