Topic: Jabber: Open Instant Messaging and a Whole Lot More

Abstract: Jabber is a set of open technologies for instant messaging, 
presence, and streaming XML. Peter will discuss the history, current 
state, and future direction of the Jabber open-source projects, 
commercial adoption by the likes of Google, Apple, HP, and Sun, the 
impact of IETF standardization, and fun things you can do with Jabber 
technologies.
