Linux-Windows System Administrator/PLM Administrator

Integware is currently looking for a mid-level System Administrator and
PLM Administrator to step in and make an immediate impact to our growing
company.  Candidates will have full-charge responsibilities of the company
Linux and Windows servers and supporting all company wide workstations and
laptops. In addition to system administration responsibilities, the
candidate will also be responsible for supporting internal PLM (Product
Lifecycle Management-see our website) application server to include our
document management, project management, customer and sales automation. 

POSITION DESCRIPTION 

System Administrator 

Work in a team environment to support approximately 100 computers
including Windows workstations and support for a mix of Linux and Windows
Linux servers. Maintain network and daily backups. Develop and maintain
written guidelines for IT systems. Directly support employees with IT
infrastructure needs (some with very little PC knowledge). Administer
security, user accounts and monitor system performance. Diagnose and
repair hardware, network and software failures. Maintain an accurate
software and equipment inventory including spares for hot swap. Support
equipment upgrades and moves. Specify new equipment and software
components for purchase and administer software licenses as appropriate.
Ensure all new hires workstations are set up and functioning before their
start; this includes having equipment on hand, phones and computers
properly working and desk area set up. 

 

PLM Administrator duties:

Working with development team to implement new process, designing new
solutions testing, reporting and helping to correct defects, developing
and maintaining system documentation, supporting user community and
resolving issues. 


SKILLS REQUIRED: 

*	3-5 years of Hardware and software systems administration
supporting a network of approximately 100 computers. 
*	Must be conversant in: initial hardware installation and
configuration, component level diagnostics and replacement, network
configuration, standard security, OS installation, application software
installation, resolving application conflicts. 
*	Working experience with XML, Microsoft Word templates and
scripting language experience.

*	Experience with Linux and Windows Servers
*	Java or Other OO programming Skills 
*	Web Development 
*	Database administration
*	Must have a strong customer focus and work ethic, exhibit a
service-oriented mentality, be a well organized time manager and manage
multiple priorities and tasks. 
*	Should have web security administration including virtual private
networking. 
*	Basic understanding of project management
*	Ability to lift up to 50 lbs


DEGREE: 2 year associates degree in Computer Science, Computer Information
Systems, or Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience.
Microsoft and Linux certifications are a huge plus.
