The backup/archive software team develops enterprise class solutions to protect customer data.

 

Senior engineer responsible for ongoing development of the Solaris NDMP backup solution. Responsible for both new feature development and sustaining development.

Specific skills desired:
-Expert in C programming
-Must understand multithreaded software programming
-Experience programming Unix/Linux user and kernel software
-Experience with storage protocols, especially SCSI and NDMP
-Ability to work in individually and as a member of a team

Secondary skills: Solaris SMF, Solaris DTrace, XML
