Job Title:  Oracle DB Developer/Product Management/Customer Interface Architect

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a person with an outstanding technical consulting background to interface between development personnel and PDQ's Fortune 500 key customers.  This Product Management /Customer Interface Architect will help solve customer /product issues via a technical/business approach.  This strong customer focus will help shape PDQ's product roadmap by creating prototypes and product demonstrations necessary to maintain customer satisfaction.  Additionally, this person will provide product demonstration requested by sales prospects and the sales organization.  The Product Management Architect will be involved in new market extensions of the product, as well as competitive functionality and positioning.   This individual will work closely with and report to the Director of Product Management; the person will also work closely with the software development, sales, customer solutions and marketing organizations.

 

Primary Responsibilities 

.         Work directly with customers to solve specific product data quality problems using the Oracle PDQ product suite Assist in the development of detailed functional specifications documentation for new and existing products 

.         Provide product support and training to sales and internal support personnel 

.         Act as a liaison between customers, software engineering, and internal support staff to identify, resolve, and prevent operational issues as they relate PDQ products 

 

Essential Experience 

 

.         Possess a unique blend of business and technical expertise 

.         Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably with data-systems or programming background. 

.         3-5 years of implementation, technical project or technical product management experience. 

.         Demonstrated success in project management and implementation of data-centric applications. 

.         Experience writing user documentation and product specifications 

.         Experience creating user-interface requirements, flow-charts and mock-ups. 


Required Skills 

.         Strong relational database skills.  Expert at solving problems related to large volumes of data. 

.         Strong Internet and web technology skills, including user-interface design requirements 

.         Strong planning, organization, and problem solving skills. 

.         Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

.         The ability to work effectively with various internal departments and with clients in a collaborative work environment 

.         Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
