Brief Posting Description

Prevent bugs from reaching customers by designing and developing automated tests to verify components of the Solaris operating system.

 

Detailed Description

As a member of the Core Solaris Operating System group, you will design and develop automated tests to verify key components of the OS.  Work with product development teams to identify test requirements, write test plans, design tests, implement automated tests, and provide detailed analysis of test results.

 

Job Requirements

Proficient in one or more of these programming languages:  C, UNIX shell, Perl, or python.  Able to handle complex tasks requiring independent judgment.  May have a project lead role and/or supervise junior engineers.  BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.  4+ years of software engineering or related experience.
