		This Colorado based leadership position manages a team of supply chain professionals.  Team size is currently nine direct reports, primarily buyers and planners, both local and in the UK.

		Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.

		Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions. Ensures the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at acceptable levels. Responsible for sourcing and supplying raw materials, utilities and outside services, as well coordinating global procurement efforts. Coordinates with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory carrying costs. Reviews and plans needs for acceptable inventory. May assist with the establishment and maintenance of the production control system. May work with customers in auditing customer inventory levels and with internal and external vendors to comply with inventory policies. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

		Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. BA/BS degree preferred.

		Oracle is a leader in developing ERP systems, we use our own system, working with the Oracle Information Technology development teams is a part of this opportunity.  

This team tightly manages seven different suppliers in the US, Japan, Germany and Thailand.

The product set includes large mechanical racks, complete storage accommodating servers, network interface cards and "storage on tape" related products.

Needed skills:

- Excellent communication skills

- This leader must be able to work with this wide range of suppliers as well as our Colorado based engineering group that supports these products

- Experience with suppliers who use EDI communication and ATO BOM structures is helpful
