I keep a LART beside my computer at home, and had one at my old office. 
(Should I be telling you this?!)  I've called it a LART more than I've 
called it a 'clue-by-four'.

I think it is still in active use in the Bastard Operator from Hell 
stories, too.

By the way, strangly enough, RTFE2 is also a good, if dangerously 
unreliable, way of getting information like this.  In nothing else, its got 
the whole Jargon File within its databases.  http://www.everything2.org/
