[NCLUG] HDD formatting problems... Never mind.

DUHH...  I was on a wild goose chase, thought it was a problem with my
BIOS not seeing > 8GB disks.  Turned out that I had an extra jumper
setting it to the wrong number of cylinders...

And after I removed the jumper,

hdd: WDC WD205BA, ATA DISK drive
hdd: WDC WD205BA, 19574MB w/2048kB Cache, CHS=39770/16/63 

Now fdisk works fine, and I mkfs'ed and I am ready to go.

The lesson is one I know already: RTFM.  I wasted a lot of time on this.
