I feel that the WWW offers most of what you can buy
from a bookstore these days..

I get most of the information I need...
If you search www.google.com for say
"basic unix commands" you will find a ton
of information.
One book I did find to be a must have is

Dns and Bind
by Cricket Liu, Paul Albitz, Mike Loukides

O'Rielly has other good books too...
