[NCLUG] LDAP Authentication

I want to implement shared LDAP authentication, so all of my boxes running
HPUX, Solaris, Win2k, and Linux can share the same username/passwords.

Can anyone send me some documentation or tell me how to set a system like
this up?

I would like to run the LDAP server on a HPUX A-Class system, but that's not
important.
Protocols other than LDAP would also be fine.
