When would you need this person? I have no Linux skills to speak of but I
can say: "hello" and "would you like a cup of tea?"

Perhaps this would be helpful.

Oliver Niesewand.

Subject: [NCLUG] more CLIQ recruiting

So suppose you got Sean's message and were thinking you'd like
to help out with the CLIQ, but then you got to the bottom and
saw that he really wants someone who understands networking, so
you can reboot the router if the jaxo starts sending spurious
packets galumpfing out beyond the event horizon or whatever it
is they do, and you realize that you don't know the first thing
about networking,

... THEN ...

as it turns out, I too, am in need of an assistant for the
CLIQ, and mine doesn't need to have any particular skills:
you could, in fact, be as dumb as dirt, or even as dumb as me,
and still qualify. But you still get all the honors and
privileges appertaining there unto. Beat that, if you can!

My assistant has to help me manage the BOFs. That means you
get to meet and greet all the BOF leaders. Some of them may
have contacts in industry, so, who knows, you might even be
able to "network" yourself into a decent job. If you do that,
let me know, because I could use one too.

If you're interested, apply forthwith.
