[NCLUG] Process size limits

Hi all,

  What is the current process size limit on Linux?   I know this
  is a pretty generic question, and I have not looked any where
  else for the info, but I need to know rather quickly.

  We are looking at the possiblity of starting to use Linux as
  a compute engine platform, and one of the arguments against
  this is the limited process size available.   I would like to
  be able to us more than 2G of memory.

  Is that possible.
