[NCLUG] Apache/Linux & M$ SQL Server 2000

MS SQL2000 will allow ODBC connections to the databases. Would the
development tools in question use a DSN to connect to the database, or do
they appear to allow a DSN-less connection method like OLEDB? That would be
ideal from a performance standpoint. I know when I was using ODBC via DSN's
to run some web apps against a SQL server, and later converted all of my
connection strings to use the OLEDB method, performance (not to mention
stability) went up noticeably. Such a thing may only be available on MS
tools (I am using ASP)...
