[NCLUG] Boot messages

Yeah, it's "quiet". E.g., in /etc/lilo.conf do something like

image=/boot/vmlinux-2.4.9-6
	label=linux
	read-only
	root=/dev/sda2
	append="quiet"		# <<<--- suppress boot messages from kernel
