 Yes, my antenna cable makes for an excellent barometer thanks to a couple
of squirrels. They decided to snack on the cable where it curls under the
eave which also happens to be a good spot for water to collect and enter
the exposed jacket. Hot weather with no rain, as well as deep cold, make
for great signal strength, but when accumulated moisture finds its way
down into the lightning arrestor in the garage then the signal takes a
dirt-nap and I have to attend to it with a q-tip and paper towel.  I've
installed a "squirrel guard" (automotive wire management) and more tape
around the chewable bits with success so far.
