[NCLUG] KRUD (2002-01-01) and MegaRAID Problems

Hmmm.  Downloded.the update-disk-20020117.img, and the matching boot.img 
(new date stamp, and different than the one on the 2002-01-01 KRUD 
Distribution CD).  Same behavior.   I've even tried a new system with 
the same hardware.  7.1 installs fine, 7.2 can't find the MegaRAID 
controller, or the disks on it, and therefore cannot install or upgrade 
anything to it.

I have noticed that 7.2 loads a I2O_block driver, which is conneced with 
the MegaRAID controller.  Turning off I2O on the MegaRAID controller 
causes this I2O_block driver not to load, but it doesn't have any other 
effect.  

Any ideas?
