[NCLUG] Fetchmail

Hi all,

I'm trying to use fetchmail to check mail on my home isp.  Just using the -
c option not trying to download anything.  My home isp is AT&T cable
(attbi.com)   Anyone know if they are limiting pop3 requests to only their
subnets?

When I run fetchmail ($ fetchmail -u myusername -c -p pop3 mail.attbi.com)
I get prompted for a password  for myusername at mail.attbi.com  then it just
sits there for several minutes and times out with a
fetchmail: timeout after 300 seconds waiting to connect to server
mail.attbi.com.
fetchmail: client/server synchronization error while fetching from
mail.attbi.com

I don't see any rejects from my firewall in the logs.
Any ideas on what I can try?
