[NCLUG] mail.frii.com is depreciated?

Hi NCLUGgers,

Recently an address on the list started bouncing with the following "permanent 
error",

   <foo at mail.frii.com>:
   216.17.128.2 does not like recipient.
   Remote host said: 550 5.0.0 <foo at mail.frii.com>... mail.frii.com is
   depreciated use frii.com instead
   Giving up on 216.17.128.2.

Is FRII really dropping mail on the floor because people are still using 
mail.frii.com? Any FRII customers or employees know what's going on?
