[NCLUG] (offtopic) WLAN wardriving in FC

I figure this would get to a better tech-filled community, so here I
wonder if there have been any known wardriving+mapping attempts around
here, curiosity in how many people have it and how many insecure networks.

I had someone attempted to login to my wap, and since I don't
have MAC auth turned on (just WEP keys, but easily guessable wep keys -
about as bad as 0000000000000 ;), I'm wonderring how far they got.  I
really wish my cisco 675 would log all DHCP attempts though, so at least I
would have that indication of which, if any of my machines were touched.

The guy tried twice it seems, I did get two three attempts with his MAC,
two close together and one a few hours later.

Just curious...  but I guess I should change WEP keys more often.
