Hi NCLUGgers,

We had great attendance at the meeting last night.
Thanks to Hugh Mahon for his presentation on ppp over ssl
(or, a lazy-man's-vpn), and Roger Parmenter for talking about
his visit to the Lindows company.

On the subject of Spam and mailing list policy, the group voted 
mostly FOR (with all others abstaining) to switch to allow posting 
from subscribed email addresses only.

Sorry if this is inconvenient for some folks.  This is not intended to 
quash discussions, except about the presence of Spam on the list.

Please email me with any addresses you normally use to post, 
and I will add them to the list of additional approved posters.  Or,
you may subscribe any number of addresses and switch mail 
delivery off for the extras at:
