[NCLUG] Postfgres user/password question

OK, I have done this using the create_user command.  I have
also entered passwords.  However, remote users connecting
through psql cannot log on.  I see in the pg_hba.conf
documentation that the passwords nee to be in the pg_shadow
file.  Where should this be located for the users to
authinticate via the md5 option in pg_hba.conf??

As it stands, I have the system authinticating all valid
IP's, whic his fine for now, but I will need to close this
down *significantly*.
