[NCLUG] airport extreme vs. linksys

I'm looking at switching my lan from cat5 ethernet to wireless. Does 
anyone have any opinion on using an Apple Airport Extreme versus a 
Linksys 802.11g wireless router/base station? I have a mixed network of 
Linux boxes, an iMac, and a Windows PC. What issues will I face if I 
decide to use the Airport Extreme base station? Will it be compatible 
with an 802.11g PC card in a notebook?
